— Traditional cuisine and local products —

In a warm and family atmosphere, the Dupont brothers, Vincent in the kitchen and Etienne in the dining room, offer you a traditional cuisine with an emphasis on local products.

The menu

Great classics of brasserie cuisine

Throughout the year, the restaurant invites you to discover or rediscover the great classics of brasserie cuisine. In addition to a rich menu of some sixty dishes, Vincent Dupont also offers a few thematic excursions. Game, seafood, asparagus and Bouchot mussels are on the menu according to the season. In summer, the barbecue takes over the garden to showcase the meats of the Picron farm.

Local products

Quality local products

Vincent Dupont began his career in starred restaurants such as the Maison de Bouche of the illustrious Pierre Romeyer or the Fox de la Panne. Our chef has kept from this apprenticeship a love for traditional bourgeois cuisine that the years have not dulled. Since 1985, he has been working with the same passion to give taste to the product, without spreading himself too thinly in a show kitchen and while boycotting industrial dishes with delight. The result has made the reputation of the Auberge le XIXe which, long before the fashion, had already made the bet on local products. From celery from the family garden to butter from the village farm, from homemade preserves to a platter of Walloon cheeses, local craftsmanship is at your fingertips.
